part-time entertainer performing at restaurants like Quarterbacks BBQ,
and Rafters in Johnson City, Tennessee, while he was studying at East
Tennessee State University. One year before graduating in 1990, Chesney
recorded his first album at the Classic Recording Studio in Bristol,
Virginia. He attempted to sell the records for money to buy a new
guitar. After graduating Kenny Chesney headed for Nashville with his
new guitar and his dreams of becoming a country music star. While searching for his ‘big break’, Kenny Chesney continued to perform at local restaurants. Four years after his journey in Nashville began Kenny Chesney released another album on the Capricorn Records label. Singles like ‘The Tin Man’ and ‘Whatever it Takes’ were counted on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts, but only on the lower ranks. The closing of the music division of Capricorn Records led Kenny to a contract with BNA Records. In 1995, he then released his first major album “All I Need to Know” which consisted of the two top-ten hit singles ‘All I Need to Know’ and ‘Fall in Love’. Continuing to build the momentum, Chesney released ‘Me and You’ which peaked at number two on the Billboard country charts, followed by ‘When I Close My Eyes’ which topped the charts. These songs were both produced for his album, “Me and You”, which became his first gold-platinum album.
These fans definitely came out to support her second album, “Like a Virgin”, which claimed the number one spot on the US Albums Chart. Despite criticisms of many, her adoration by billions of fans has defined her undying success. Following the release of “Like a Virgin” were the albums, “True Blue” (1986) and “Like a Prayer” (1989), which also reached number one status. Her albums “Erotica” (1992) and “Bedtime Stories” (1994) were not as successful but Madonna regained her momentum from releasing her seventh album “Ray of Light” in 1998. The trend continued as her last four albums “Music” (2000), “American Life” (2003), “Confessions on a Dance Floor” (2005), and “Hard Candy” (2008) reclaimed her number one spots.
Kenny
Chesney has indeed become a country music star. He went on to produce
several more hits. "Young", "The Good Stuff", "Living in Fast Forward",
"Summertime", and "Don't Happen Twice" are just a selected few. His
most recent album was released on October 11th 2007. “Just Who I Am:
Poets & Pirates” did not break the hit-making chain of Kenny
Chesney’s previous albums. The success of this album inspired "The
Poets and Pirates Tour 2008". If you are looking for more than a
