
James Williams was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi on December 25, 1946. He began playing the guitar in University. He then went on to Nashville in pursuit of a career as a recording artist. He released his first album “Down to Earth” which was followed by ‘A White Sport Coat and a Pink Crustacean’ in 1973, ‘A-1-A’ in 1974, ‘Havana Daydreaming' in 1976, 1977's ‘Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes’, ‘Christmas Island’ which was a collection of Holiday songs and ‘License to Chill’ which was released on July 13, 2004. Within its first week of release 238,600 copiesof this album was sold; amazing.
